Did America Torture?

Upon  hearing former VP Cheney say that he thought or was pretty sure President Bush knew that agents of the federal government was caring out waterboarding and other forms of enhanced interrogation I wish the Youth of the 60’s and Silver Spoons of the 70’s would learn the meaning of Deniable Plausibility. For shocked to learn that given a captive a shot of medicine designed to reduce their resistance and compel them to tell the truth (Truth Serum) is considered torture under the Rule of Law, even I have a hard time using Logic and Reason to justify the use of a med-evil method of extracting information from a Human; however, in defense of the President of the United States of America I have to ask My Peers did America torture anyone or commit a war crime against a group of hooligans who say that they do not recognize the Rule of Law.

Yes, an argument best left in the hands of the Courts of the Land to decide, but one that has such a political impact on what the Left and Right has been taught over the last 30 years. I do believe that a full blown investigation into the matter needs to be aired. Since if an Individual is willing to surrender their Unalienable Right to be Human and refuse to accept the safety afforded them under the protection of a Nation/Society as a citizen than how can that individual ask for protection under the same set of rules? For knowing of only one defense that remotely supports the idea that the members of Al Qaeda lack the mental capacity to know what they did is wrong. I do believe that it would be hard to find a single American willing to give a Citizen of the 21st Century the same benefit of doubt that a Citizen of the 20th Century was given some 30 years ago. For what is Ignorant about the willful destruction of the Civilized World trying to be built by the Elected Officials of America and Humanity. Especially given the fact that the Powers-that-Be of Man said they would listen to anyone, including me that can prove through the Spoken Word that it is possible to build a make every Human on Earth economically viable and financially independent.

No, I do not see the need to torture someone who is in captivity; nevertheless, given the argument that all is fair in Love and War I can see where the President of the United States of America seeking to defend “We the People” would authorize and/or use “Any Means Necessary” to get timely information from a person found on the battlefield and before the enemy noticed them missing. For why Public Safety and National Security has to be Concern #1 for Government and Society, knowing that Nature will permit thousands to die at the hands of one I wonder what any group of hooligans would do if America and Humanity followed such Logic and Reason. Since you are forced to tell me that it is wrong to wipe out all of Afghanistan and Pakistan in the quest to bring Peace upon the Land.
